In the Vicariate of Venezuela, more exactly in one of the slums of Caracas, the Salvatorian Missionary Year was started with a humble but very nice celebration in which three young men made their first religious vows!
An excellent gift to the Society and the Church. May the missionary spirit and apostolic zeal of our Founder, Fr. Jordan inspire many others!
In the Salvatorian Parish of Chuao (Venezuela) the first day of the Salvatorian Missionary Year was especially commemorated on January 18 during the "children's - Mass" presided by Fr. Luis Munilla and broadcasted on internet, as well in the other Eucharists, where the theme: "Mission with Passion" was focussed. In the same way Jesus choose his Apostles, also Fr. Jordan committed himself with the Mission and sought other hands and arms which would help and multiply the Gospels message, sending the first missionaries, now 125 years ago. Also we, as members of the Salvatorian Community, nowadays are called to be multipliers. All of us can collaborate in the Mission! All of us can be Salvatorians!
