Steinfeld Monastery, with its spiritual atmosphere, the beautiful guest house and the community living there, provided the ideal setting for the provincial chapter to hold its deliberations, for prayer and services and for meeting and celebrating together. The members of the chapter felt very much at home here.

The Chapter began with concelebrated mass in the parish church at Wealdstone, presided over by Fr Richard.  After light refreshments, the meeting began in St Joseph’s Parish Hall.

The XX General Chapter of the Society of the Divine Saviour will be held from 21 July to 20 August 2024, in the city of Kraków, Poland. The logo of this event, inspired by the theme "Rooted in the Divine Saviour, apostles for today", has MISSION as its central element. We, Salvatorians want to reaffirm our commitment to live Jesus' command to go and make disciples of all nations, in the footsteps of Blessed Francis Mary of the Cross Jordan. We are gathered in Christ the Saviour to bring to all and by all means His message of salvation, which is God's gift to all.

On the Salvatorian Feast of Mary, Mater Salvatoris, 11 October 2023, the Superior General officially convoked
the XX General Chapter of the Society of the Divine Saviour, which will take place from 21 July until 20 August
2024 at the Salvatorian Spiritual Formation Centre in the historic city of Krakow in Poland.
