Fr. Johnson Bhengra of the Indian Pro-Province, was called to eternal rest on 20 January 2026 in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. He was 37 years old and had been professed for 8 years. He was born on 1 January 1989 to Mr. Vincent Bhengra and Mrs. Veronica Purthy. He had one elder brother, two elder sisters, and four younger sisters. Fr. Johnson entered the Society of the Divine Saviour on 16 June 2012 as a candidate. He completed his philosophical studies at Don Bosco Philosophate, Karunapuram, from 2013 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. He entered the Novitiate in Manila, Philippines, on 16 June 2017, and did his regency at Christ Jyoti School, Nagaon, during 2017–2018.
