RIP: 11/05/2019 - Wrocław
Fr. Marian Papiernik was born on 2 January 1940 in Słotowa, near Pilzno. After having studied Philosophy and Theology at the diocesan seminary in Gdańsk Oliwa he joined the Society of the Divine Saviour and professed his first vows at Bagno on the feast of one of the Patrons of the Society, St. Michael, on 29 September 1964. Fr. Marian was ordained to the priesthood on 27 October 1967. At apostolic level he was mainly involved in parish work and retreats. He died in Wrocław on 11 May 2019.
