RIP: 21/07/2019 - Milwaukee
Br. Paul Bauer was born in Ingleside, Illinois (USA), on 21 May 1924. He professed first vows on the feast of Saint Joseph in 1955. One year later, Br. Paul went with the first group of missionaries from the USA Province to the Tanganyika Mission, nowadays known as Tanzania, where he spent a significant part, 31 years of his religious life. After having returned to the USA, he still kept working for the missions and helped in different parishes. His last years he spent at Alexian Village at Milwaukee (Wisconsin), where he peacefully died on 21 July 2019 at the age of 95 years. With him, the Society lost its oldest member.
