We join the Church in mourning the death of our Holy Father, Pope Francis. As we grieve the loss of a shepherd who led the Church with compassion, humility, and courage, we commend his soul to the mercy of God. Attached is a letter sent to his Eminence Cardinal Re, the Dean of the College of Cardinals, expressing our condolences and prayers.
Eternal Rest grant unto him O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon him.
Woe to me, O Lord, if I do not make you known to men [and women]!
