Centenary’s Celebrations and Pilgrimage
The XIX General Chapter was completed with a three-day Jubilee Celebration of the Centenary of the death of the Founder. The Celebration took place at St. Peter’s seminary near Freiburg, Tafers (Switzerland) and Gurtweil from 07-09 SEP 18.
We were joined by several Salvatorians of the three branches from as far away as Australia. In addition, Fr. Gerard Rogowski, former Superior General, presided at the Mass on Friday 07 SEP 18 with Sr. Ulrike Musick providing a reflection on the importance of St. Peters for Fr. Jordan. Also, Bishop Charles Morerod of Fribourg presided at the Mass on 08 SEP 18 in Tafers and Auxiliary Bishop Michael Gerber of Freiburg presided on Sunday 09 SEP 18 at Gurtweil. The celebration was beautiful and joyful.
