The participants had the great privilege this morning of going to the convent of Santa Brigida on the Piazza Farnese.
They joyfully celebrated the Eucharist in the building where Father Jordan and two followers began to realize the Salvatorian dream on 08 December 1881. They were joined by a group of young Salvatorian Sisters and Fr. Adam Teneta who explained the significance of the place. After the Mass, those present were able to go upstairs to the little chapel where the Founder made his private vows. Participants prayed for the grace to remember our Salvatorian beginnings as well as to recall our “first love” when we felt the call to follow the Divine Savior along the path indicated by Fr. Jordan. In sum, today was a pleasant day of rest, relaxation, sightseeing and interacting with one another at a personal level helping to strengthen our ties as confreres.
