The participants continued to consider the topic of mission but from the perspective of how our mission efforts are being funded.
Mr. Arnout Mertens, the director of the Salvatorian Office for International Aid (SOFIA) shared information of the great work the European units have done for the Salvatorian missions and how that legacy is being furthered. In the afternoon under the guidance of Fr. Agustin Van Baelen SDS and with input from the unit superiors present, the participants began dealing with the important topic of how to advance needed restructuring among the western European units in particular. This topic will be addressed in other days of the meeting as well.
